Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Xpense Diary (the "App"), including any related features and services provided by us.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

Xpense Diary supports three sign-in methods, each subject to these Terms:

• Email and password — register with a valid email address and a password
• Continue with Google — sign in with your existing Google account; your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Terms of Service
• Continue as guest — use the App with an anonymous account that is tied to your device session (see "Guest Access" below)

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• You are responsible for providing accurate registration details
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and your Google account
• You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activity performed through your account, including any activity performed under a guest session on your device

The App offers a "Continue as guest" option that creates an anonymous account so you can try Xpense Diary without providing an email address. Guest access is provided for your convenience and is subject to the following:

• Guest accounts are tied to your device installation. If you uninstall the App, clear app data, or sign out of the guest session, you may lose access to data created under that guest account
• Because there is no email address, there is no password reset or account recovery available for guest accounts
• You can convert a guest account into a full account at any time by signing up with email or by choosing "Continue with Google"
• We may apply reasonable trial and abuse-prevention checks to guest profiles using a device-level identifier
• Your use of a guest account is governed by the same Terms as a full account

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial finance management.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code
• Interfere with the App's security, functionality, or servers
• Upload malicious code or content designed to disrupt service
• Use the App in a way that violates the rights of others

You retain ownership of the financial information and content you input into the App. You grant us permission to process and store this data solely to provide App features such as syncing, analytics, reminders, and account management.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own records and entries.

Xpense Diary may offer paid Premium plans (such as Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime). Payments and renewals are handled by the relevant app store provider (for example, Google Play).

• Subscription charges, renewals, and cancellation settings are managed by your app store account
• Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid plans unless cancelled before trial end
• Refunds are subject to your app store provider's refund policy
• We may change Premium features or pricing, with notice where required by law
• Before completing a Premium purchase, you must tick the "I agree to the Terms & Privacy" checkbox on the paywall. Once accepted, your acceptance is remembered locally on your device so you do not have to re-tick the box on every visit. Continuing to use Premium constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms

Xpense Diary is provided for personal budgeting and expense tracking purposes only. The App does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice.

• All insights and reports are informational only
• You should consult a qualified professional for financial decisions
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation at all times

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Xpense Diary and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the App at any time. You can also request account deletion from within the App or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or create risks to users, systems, or legal compliance.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App.

Continued use of the App after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your primary country of operation, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law states otherwise.
